Congratulations to the Hokey Knee Hi Team, coached by Mark Bonshak, for clinching the Lehigh Valley League Championship and also finishing the season undefeated. BOB WARKE 2010 SCHOLARSHIP:
In continuation of its Bob Warke Scholarship Program, The Hokendauqua Park and Playground Association (HPPA) will again be awarding two $1,000 scholarships. To be eligible, you must be a class of 2010 high school graduate, be continuing your education in the fall of 2010, you must have participated in the organization’s baseball, softball or basketball youth programs, and you must complete the scholarship application form and return it to the HPPA prior to June 30, 2010. Additional requirements are listed on the application. The organization will review all of the applications and select one girl and one boy to receive the scholarship. Applications must be e-mailed to Bill Sabol at wsabol@rcn.com
