CONGRATULATIONS HOKEY TEAMS ON A GREAT BASEBALL/SOFTBALL SEASON!
Knee Hi Team – Lehigh Valley League Champions/20 – 0
Congratulations to the Hokey Knee Hi Team, coached by Mark Bonshak, for clinching the Lehigh Valley League Championship and also finishing the season undefeated. Team members: Cory Arbogast, Ryan Bonshak, Tyler Bridgwood, Jeff Charles, Shawn Glosek, Nick Graff, Aaron Keglovits, Matt Melowsky, Nick Nejad, Corey Pace, Mark Silvius and Tyler Williams. BOB WARKE 2010 SCHOLARSHIP:
The 2010 Hokendauqua Park & Playground – Bob Warke Scholarships were awarded to Julia Schafer and Alex Greenzweig. These two $1000 scholarships are awarded to one male and one female HPPA sports participant who have graduated from high school and will continue their education at a university, college or trade school. Criteria for scholarship selection include high school academic performance, extracurricular activities and community service. The scholarship is funded by our annual Bob Warke Basketball Tournament held at the end of the basketball season and through generous donations by the Hokey Legion and friends who want to keep the spirit of Bob Warke in youth sports.
